Details: Wine fans are invited to join us at the start of harvest for our traditional "Blessing of the Grapes" service. This centuries-old ceremony, practiced by many religions and cultures throughout the ages, honors the vineyards, the grapes, and the hard work of the people who make the annual wine grape harvest a reality. Father John Finley will say a prayer of thanksgiving and ask for a blessing upon the hands that grow and make the wine. After the blessing, we will eat, drink, and make merry with barrel and tank sampling, a wine swirling contest, live music, production tours, and general harvest reverie.
