Details: Join Flying Goat in the celebration of "Down to Earth" (D2E) Month and Earth Day. Sustainability is the theme and we are sharing some of our many practices toward that goal. Norm and Kate source fruit from some of the finest vineyards in Santa Barbara County so they do not practice viticulture. Yet, they do practice backyard beekeeping, vermiculture, composting and gardening, which contribute to a sustainable environment. Flying Goat also has many sustainable practices in the cellar and tasting room. At our Earth Day Reception, we'll share a bee demonstration hive and honey to spark your interest.
