Shennie was born and raised in Norway and moved to Santa Barbara at the age of 19 to pursue her lifelong dream of working as a singer in the beautiful state of California. When Shennie is not singing with Cata, she works as a vocal coach for children. For her, singing connects the mind with the heart, and the heart with the soul. Catalina, who goes by “Cata” to fans, is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She moved from her hometown to Santa Barbara to follow her dreams of developing a music career. Together, the duo’s sound is heavily influenced by folk, rock, pop, and blues.
