Details: Start on the terrace with coffee and pastries, where you'll meet founder Fred Schweiger and his winemaker son Andy. Guests pick and stomp grapes while tasting Schweiger wine during Harvest, the most exciting time of the year! Dress in clothes that are comfortable for spending time in the sun, where you’ll learn what makes this terroir unique, how to measure brix (sugar) levels in the fruit, farming techniques, and then you’ll have a chance to pick Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. After your samples are harvested, head back to the crush pad where the stomping of grapes begins (along with tasting Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.) A sit down to lunch on the terrace features red wines, including Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux blend, Dedication. The afternoon concludes with Port XIII and chocolate.
