Details: Nearly 50 years ago, Sierra Vista pioneered the way for the Sierra Foothills when it planted its first vineyard in 1972. The topography, soils and altitudes in the vineyard create varied micro climates consistent with some of the best known grape growing regions of the world including Côtes du Rhône, Bordeaux and Burgundy. Many of our estate wines are from ancient own rootstock with some lineage tracing to the French regions of Côte-Rôtie and Hermitage. When you visit our estate, you’ll enjoy acres of rolling vineyards and picturesque views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with year round events such as live music, food and wine parings, holiday events and more.
