Details: Overlooking Pleasant Valley, Ranchita Canyon Vineyard is family owned and operated with the goal to achieve rich, concentrated, bold fruit. Bill and Teresa have developed the property into a premium vineyard, with a new boutique winery focusing on small lot Estate Wines. We have south facing rolling hills at 1000' to 1400' elevation, with primarily chalky, calcareous soil. We believe wine is "made in the vineyard," and have a year-round commitment to the vines, using the latest best practices for canopy and irrigation management, and balanced vines for even fruit maturation-- with low yields per vine / acre.
