The Sierras meet the Sacramento Valley in Yuba County, which offers both scenic wilderness and rich farmland. Farm trails and farm-to-fork meals celebrate local peaches, nectarines, melons, rosemary and olives. Winegrapes have been cultivated here since the 1840s, flourishing in the granite-rich soils of the North Yuba AVA.
