Details: Join George Staikos from The Educated Grape, and Joe Nielsen, General Manager and Winemaker at Ram's Gate Winery, for the virtual series "In the Vineyard." We will explore key points during the growing season as well as important factors in the vineyard that contribute to wine's personality, style and complexity. One of the most important moments in the growing season is Veraison. This is the process where grapes turn from green to red and naturally begin to sweeten. It is also a good barometer in determining pick dates for harvest.
