Cyrus Clarke and the Blue Sky Flyers celebrate and play the music of California Americana and beyond. Led by songwriter and vocalist Cyrus Clarke, a Southern California native who spent eleven years working in the music scene on Maui, the band’s sound includes elements of rock, country, bluegrass, surf music, and more. Under his label, Ranch Recording, Clarke has released eleven studio albums which are currently available on iTunes, Spotify, and most other streaming platforms.

Join us on Friday night for live music, wine, and empanadas in the Barrel Room. This week, get ready for a live set by brothers Tom and Mike Cantillon of Beta Play! Beta Play (previously known as Tommy & the High Pilots) have released five albums and four singles. They have been featured on the cover of the Independent and Scene magazines in Santa Barbara, as well as on VEVO, YouTube, and MTV‘s front pages. When they aren’t touring, the Cantillon Brothers like to keep up their musical chops by playing in more intimate settings, bringing a variety of covers to the table that include ’50s and ’60s doo-wop, classic rock, modern pop hits, and everything in between. SIP for Scholars

A community funded scholarship for high-school and college students whose parents work in our members’ vineyards and wineries. Since its inception in 2015, the fund has awarded over $75,000 in higher education scholarships based on academic excellence, financial need and community involvement. Join us this Friday at Carr Winery for live music from NBC’s The Voice finalist, Will Breman, alongside the World’s Safest Band! A longtime Santa Barbara native, Will Breman has developed a sound all his own over the course of his musical career. He primarily operates as a one-man-band soul musician and looper, creating various beats with his guitar and looping them together to sound like multiple musicians. This year, he earned a spot on John Legend’s team on season 17 of The Voice. Since the show’s finale, Breman continues to play at various venues along the West Coast. We look forward to welcoming him back to the Carr Winery Barrel Room this January!

Dan & the ZimmerMen are an original trio consisting of Dan Zimmerman on guitar, Matt Perko on drums, and Santino Tafarella on bass. The band performs Zimmerman’s original instrumental music, including a blend of jazz, rock, country, and funk with ambient textures. Catch the Alastair Greene Duo on the Carr Winery patio this Friday evening! Enjoy Carr wines and empanadas from Buena Onda. Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Alastair Greene has been a mainstay of the Southern California music scene for close to three decades. He has released eight solo albums (including two live recordings and a compilation record), the most recent of which is “LIVE FROM THE 805.” The album was nominated for Rock Blues Album of the Year by Blues Blast Magazine in addition to being included on many “Best of 2018” year-end lists by multiple publications. Carr Winery 20th Anniversary Party

Come help us celebrate 20 years of Carr wine! We’ll be raising a glass to our past, present, and future (and all the bottles opened and connections made along the way). Riverbench Vineyard Tasting Room: Extended Hours

After many club member requests, we’re trying something a little different. Riverbench Vineyard tasting room along the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail will be open for a late afternoon of lawn games, all original live music and wine by the glass or bottle. Bring your blanket, chairs and friends for a relaxing Friday afternoon in our garden. Tasting flights end at 4pm; our normal closing time. Wine served by the glass or bottle from 4 to 6pm.

Live Music, Food Truck + Wine in the Vineyard

Sundays in October are always a great time to visit Riverbench Vineyard! Special outdoor wine menu includes wine by the bottle or glass. Bring a blanket and find a spot for a picnic on the lawn. A local musician (to be announced soon) will be filling the garden with all original music from 12pm to 3pm. Big Truck Foods will be serving their delicious grilled sandwiches and burgers made with deli-fresh meats and cheeses, served on locally baked breads with their own unique sauces.

Schugtoberfest

The Schug family’s winemaking roots begin along the Rhein River in Germany, at Domäne Assmannshausen, where Walter Schug spent his childhood and his father Ewald was Winemaster, beginning in 1923. In the early 1900s, as the popularity of Munich’s Oktoberfest grew, the small towns scattered across Germany- including the winemaking regions- began throwing their own versions of the harvest festival. Through this tradition, we continue to celebrate the fall bounty with our annual Schugtoberfest Harvest Party! Admission includes drink tickets, bites, live polka with dancing, and stunning views of Carneros from the Schug Estate.

2019 Sonoma County Wine Auction

The Sonoma County Wine Auction brings the region’s most renowned winemakers and growers together with distinguished collectors and generous bidders for an opportunity to acquire some of Sonoma County’s top wines and bid on once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences. Summer Anniversary Celebration

Barbera Release Event

September is California Wine Month! To celebrate, we are having a release party for one of our signature varietals, Barbera! We will be pouring our 2017 Barbera, 2017 Estate Barbera, and a few other of your favorite Oak Farm Vineyards wines. Food will be available to purchase and live music will be going on from 12pm-4pm. This event is free to attend and open to the public. We are a 21 and over facility, so all guests attending must be 21 or over. A Harvest Blessing at Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards

Since then, TD Lind has lived in Kentucky, London, Los Angeles, Provence (France), and currently resides in Ojai, California. Over the years TD has played/worked with Glyn Johns, Sting, Bad Company, The Moody Blues, Wilco, The Mavericks, Marillion, and James Blunt, to name a few. This is a show you won’t want to miss! Shennie was born and raised in Norway and moved to Santa Barbara at the age of 19 to pursue her lifelong dream of working as a singer in the beautiful state of California. When Shennie is not singing with Cata, she works as a vocal coach for children. For her, singing connects the mind with the heart, and the heart with the soul. Catalina, who goes by “Cata” to fans, is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She moved from her hometown to Santa Barbara to follow her dreams of developing a music career. Together, the duo’s sound is heavily influenced by folk, rock, pop, and blues.
