Details: Established in 1982, Au Bon Climat cultivated, early on, an international reputation for stellar Burgundian-styled Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourcing fruit from local, highly regarded vineyards and estate plantings. Multiple editions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are produced annually, most vineyard designated. Founder and wine icon Jim Clendenen was essential to elevating Burgundian varietals on the Central Coast and the winery continues to be at the forefront. Jim also developed the Clendenen Family label, a project of passion exploring offbeat varietals and idiosyncratic styles because they are interesting. Current releases and library wines can be found at the tasting room open daily.
