The estate is a 260-acre reserve in Sonoma County’s Green Valley AVA - one of the coolest areas for great Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. 100% of the vineyard is on Gold Ridge soil, a highly coveted soil type, especially for Pinot Noir. For 37 years and seven consecutive Presidential Administrations, Iron Horse Sparkling Wine has been served at the White House for State Dinners and other historic occasions, initially at the Reagan-Gorbachev Summit Meetings in 1985. The family also produces elegant, highly acclaimed, limited production, estate Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.
