Details: On 400 contiguous acres of their Carneros “Estate” (285 planted to vine), Tony and Jo Ann Truchard have created hand-crafted wines that express both the unique soil/slope combination's of their particular parcel of land (“they have a sense of place” says Tony), but also their commitment to wines that express the character of each grape variety without going overboard in ripeness to the point of caricature. Most of the grapes (70%) are sold to other prestigious wineries.
