Many wineries throughout the state of California are celebrating this September with onsite tastings and demonstrations, virtual tastings, tours, festivals, farm-to-table harvest dinners, special offers and more.

Sept. 2 & 3: Wine Regions Tours

We’ll be kicking off California Wine Month with a tour of beautiful Paso Robles attended by some of our favorite food & wine influencers – follow @california.wines on Instagram and the California Wines Facebook page to see what’s going on!

*Pro tip: some of our friends will be visiting other regions, including the Sierra Foothills and Santa Barbara County on their way to Paso, so start following along on August 31 to see all the regions we visit!

Sept. 16, 3 p.m. PDT 

Join Aida Mollenkamp of Salt & Wind and Kate Ramos of Hola Jalapeño live on the California Grown Facebook channel as they pair six of California’s most popular wine styles with seasonal, wine-friendly dishes, including:

  • Pumpkin Hummus with Toasted Spiced Pepita Seeds
  • Whipped Goat Cheese Spread topped with Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Pomegranates
  • Agrodolce Grape Crostini
  • Beet and Pear Chips
  • Poblano and Queso Fresco Taquitos

Wine lovers who want to bring the harvest experience into their homes can do just that this month, through virtual events and  purchasing California wines from local wine shops or grocery stores. To give you a little inspiration,  in partnership with CA Grown, we’re offering a free e-book , “Happy Hour at Home,” which includes simple recipes for delicious snacks and small bites that pair beautifully with California wines.
